
What is Trichology?
Trichology was first founded in 1901 and involves the study of the hair and scalp.
A Trichologist is trained in multiple aspects of scalp health and hair health, including hair loss and regeneration. We have an in depth understanding of a variety of hair loss and scalp conditions, many of which we can offer efficient management or recovery techniques and/or treatments.
Since hair and scalp complaints are often a symptom of a further underlying issue, it's vital that during the consultation we take into account medical history, lifestyle and dietary factors.​
Therefore a Trichologist is also trained in many areas of wellness, including hair related nutrition, anatomy, and some inflammatory diseases. ​
